Benefits of Entering
Entering will put your congregation in the running for one of four $1000 cash prizes being awarded in each category. You might also see benefits in the form of lower utility bills, less dependence on polluting fossil fuels, more engaged members, and a lower carbon footprint. Your project description and photo will also be shared on our website to provide inspiration to others interested in creating a better future. All participants will receive a 2011 Cool Congregations Challenge certificate suitable for framing.
Announcement of Winners
Winners will be chosen by a panel of experts from Interfaith Power & Light and announced in November via email and online at CoolCongregations.com.
